Bring a lap from any GPS lap timer and DualApex turns it into a ghost in Assetto Corsa. See exactly where your sim driving gains or loses against your real lap — then race the gap down.
The web app is live now. The mobile app is coming — get early access.
DualApex replays your real lap as a ghost in Assetto Corsa — every corner exactly as you took it, at the speed you carried.
This clip is an AI-generated illustration, not captured gameplay. Drive against your own ghost — chase your best, find the tenths.
No new hardware to buy, no timer to learn. Use the device you already run on track day — DualApex does the rest.
Export a session from your GPS lap timer as a .vbo or RaceBox .csv. The file already holds your position, speed, heading and the Start/Finish line.
DualApex cuts your session into clean flying laps, picks up your lap times, and matches it to the right circuit and layout — then builds your ghost.
The DualApex app inside Assetto Corsa projects the ghost onto the track. Your real lap runs the line you drove — race against it, beat it, or add a friend's — up to three ghosts at once. It appears as the same car you drove if you have that car installed, otherwise as the DualApex BMW Z4 GT3.
Line any two laps up by distance round the circuit and DualApex ranks every corner by what it cost you — brake points, apex speed, how long before you were back on full throttle. Your best against your slowest, or your real lap against the sim. See it corner by corner →
Upload a lap here, then load it as a ghost on your PC. The app is free, and you do not need a DualApex account to use it.
Installing by hand instead: unzip into your assettocorsa folder so the files land in apps/lua/dualapex_ghost, then enable DualApex Ghost in the in-game app list. The Content Manager button does the same thing in one step, and only works if Content Manager is installed.
Early, honest, and free. Here is exactly what that means.
DualApex is built and run by one person in the Netherlands. It is not a registered company yet, and there is no phone app yet — laps come in through this website, from any browser.
DualApex lines your sim lap up against your real one — or a friend's — and shows the time gap corner by corner. Set it as your target and it drops straight into Assetto Corsa as a ghost to chase down. Beat it, and the card's ready to share.
Your sim lap against your real lap, aligned by track position — the gap broken down for every corner.
Your own real lap, a friend's, or a creator's. One tap in-game loads it as a ghost on the grid.
Chase the ghost lap after lap, watch the delta shrink, and share the card the moment you beat it.
Drop a .vbo or a RaceBox .csv from your timer — it's read right in your browser, nothing's uploaded. No file handy? Load the sample Donington session.

Drive against it in Assetto Corsa on your PC — your real line, at your real speed.
Two laps, lined up by distance round the circuit rather than by time, so they stay in step all the way round. Every corner ranked by what it cost — brake point, apex speed, how far before you were back on full throttle.
This is not one corner — it is the whole lap. The sim lap is slower at the apex of 10 of 10 corners, by about 17 km/h at the middle. That is commitment or grip across the circuit, not a mistake in one place.
| Corner | Cost | Apex speed |
|---|---|---|
| McLeans | +1.41s | 136 → 100 km/h |
| Starkey’s Bridge | +1.23s | 107 → 90 km/h |
| Coppice | +1.23s | 138 → 100 km/h |
| Goddards | +1.14s | 119 → 100 km/h |
| Hollywood | +1.11s | 90 → 82 km/h |
Every clean lap, ranked. This board is pulled live from the DualApex server — the same data your ghost is built from.
Every track day, captured once, raceable forever. Bring your laps to the grid.
